We recently launched an exciting new feature on the Patchworks iPaaS: Connector Builder.

Last year, we introduced our game-changing no-code/low-code platform, enabling our clients and agency partners to take control of their integrations effortlessly. With an extensive library of pre-built connectors, businesses with no technical or coding experience could select best-of-breed applications and integrate them seamlessly into their tech stack.

But that was just the beginning. At Patchworks, we understand that ecommerce businesses often have unique requirements - sometimes with a completely bespoke ecosystem of tech. That means that, whilst our comprehensive library has dozens of best-of-breed apps to connect, sometimes brands need something outside of that selection.

We wanted to empower ecommerce brands to connect their systems with any technology, even when no prebuilt solution exists in our connector library. It was with this in mind that the Connector Builder was born - an incredibly powerful tool that allows you to create a Patchworks connector for any third-party application that has an API.

A seamless integration process

The Connector Builder walks you through all the setup required to build a connector, wizard style. You just need to define basic details, authentication methods, and endpoints, and we take care of all the code ‘under the hood’ - the result is your very own connector that works like (and with) any standard, prebuilt Patchworks connectors.

Once you’ve built your own connector, that’s it! You can do everything you’d expect from a typical Patchworks integration. And even though it’s not one of our pre-built connectors, you’ll still have access to our different levels of support, and Patchworks’ reliable data security features.
